The Process of Regenerative Detoxification

Regenerative Detoxification is a process Robert Morse, N.D. coined the "Golden Key" to robust health and vitality, which unlocks cellular regeneration and the genetic remembering of cells.”

The process aims to restore a healthy cellular environment pH balance, purify tissues, and enable a complete regeneration of bodily tissues, including muscular, bone, and nervous tissues.

For this to occur, the obstructions to the three energy flows (blood, nerve, and lymph) must be removed to create a healing atmosphere within the body at the cellular level.

Regenerative Detoxification isn't a diet or lifestyle program. It's a systematic process predicated on identifying and addressing the root cause(s) of disease and sickness by applying appropriate dietary and lifestyle changes, botanical products, and the beneficial therapeutic methods offered by various modalities.

If you're ready to explore a deeper part of yourself, it could also be a gateway to increased spiritual inclination, connection, and awareness.

Everything is Repairable; Remember That

Creating a healthy cellular environment gives the body an opportunity to purify and heal itself, as well as to retrace and repair old injuries.

Reversing tissue weaknesses and creating a healthy cellular environment facilitates a “return to blueprint.” In other words, when the necessary conditions for healing are met, you can, for example, experience the regeneration and reversal of:

  • cut, bruised, inflamed, or burnt skin (up to 3rd-degree burns)
  • soft-tissue lesions
  • brittle and weak, fractured, broken, or underdeveloped bones
  • weak connective tissue (skin, vascular, capillary, etc.)
  • nerve fiber, myelin sheath and [nerve] connective tissue
  • spinal and hip misalignments (also without [chiropractic] adjustments)
  • compromised and deteriorated organs, glands, and other tissues
  • partially removed tissues (potential for full regrowth of the portion that was removed)
  • potential for regrowth of completely missing tissues (rare, and mostly seen with surgically removed tonsils growing back)

Regaining health is a complex journey that affects more than just your body. As different tissues revitalize and strengthen, you may find stored emotions rising to the surface, which can include:

  • anger
  • fear
  • sadness and grief

Increased mental and emotional stability can result from flushing chemical residues from your body and improving the health of your organs and endocrine system.

From Fruits to Botanicals: Dr. Morse's Detox Techniques

Dr. Morse also refers to detoxification as a “fruits, berries and melons” experience, as fruits demonstrate to be very effective cleansers of the body, unlike other foods such as:

  • vegetables (including green juices)
  • grains
  • legumes
  • nuts
  • seeds
  • animal foods

Based on his clinical experience, he considers a high or exclusively fruit diet necessary for reversing neurological and highly degenerative conditions.

If your budget allows, numerous therapy options and health-enhancing methods can support your health journey. But keep in mind they should only be applied when necessary.

Dr. Morse specializes in using tissue-specific and lymphatic-stimulating herbal formulas, glandular therapy supplements, flower essences, and essential oils where applicable.

He shares a profound love and appreciation for herbal botanicals and encourages everyone to learn about plant medicine and the many ways to use them.

Due to the declining quality of fresh produce, especially fruits, and ongoing health and genetic issues in humans, reversing various health problems has become increasingly challenging with each subsequent generation. For this reason, herbs play an essential role in Dr. Morse's healing approach.

The Crucial Role of the Lymphatic System and Kidney Filtration

A key element of Regenerative Detoxification focuses on the body's internal waste disposal or "sewer" system—namely, the lymphatic system—and the elimination pathways that help the lymph system expel waste material.

The body’s primary elimination channels are the:

  • kidneys (essential filters for the lymphatic system, as opposed to the commonly held belief of lymph fluid draining exclusively at the base of the neck)
  • skin (expels waste through sweating)
  • large intestines (expels digestive waste; helps head region drain)

Secondary elimination channels include:

  • Lungs (expelling carbon dioxide and expectorating mucus through coughing)
  • Nose (e.g. mucus and snot)
  • Eyes (e.g. tear ducts)
  • Ears (e.g. wax)

Waste by-products have multiple routes they can exit through. But the most important route for wastes produced by cells, and where the lymphatic system is concerned, is via filtration through the kidneys to be expelled out with urine.

This waste, or sediment, can be seen first-hand.

When the kidneys don’t function as desired, they gradually lose their filtering capabilities. This results in the lymphatic system becoming more sluggish throughout the body. This spans from head to toe and manifests a form of obstruction or “constipation”.

As a result, the environment around your cells gradually changes due to the hindered removal of acidic wastes. Your body then depends on expelling wastes mostly through other routes besides the kidneys. The skin will usually bear the brunt at this point.

It's quite fascinating that while many people know about their body's circulatory system, most are unaware that this system actually has two specialized sub-systems.

Each of these systems handles its own fluid type. Everyone knows about the blood. However, the other fluid, often overlooked, plays a significant role in most health challenges people face.

Some people know they have lymph nodes in the neck, under their arms, and in the groin. But the lymphatic system extends all throughout the body from head to feet, with hundreds of lymph nodes of varying sizes spread throughout.

The lymph system in the body is like a tree […]. As I tell about what the lymph system looks like, then I’d like you to repeat it, as I give it to you, and you’ll never forget it again.

The lymph system we will [simply] describe like this – let’s repeat – the branches go up in the head, the roots go down in the feet, and the tree trunk is in the chest; and it’s called the thoracic duct.

Dr. C. Samuel West, D.N., N.D., Introduction to Lymphology (Source)

Many people end up experiencing firsthand what happens when the lymphatic system gets backed up—their lymph nodes start to swell. The surgical removal of inflamed and swollen lymph nodes, like the tonsils, is a common procedure in conventional medicine.

Even though the lymphatic system plays a vital role in health, you'd be surprised to find limited information about this system in many comprehensive medical textbooks on human physiology.

You might expect a system of such importance to take up more than just a few pages, typically less than three.

While the lymphatic system is one of the 12-14 systems in the body, it receives almost no attention from the medical profession nor from basic scientists. In textbooks of medicine, surgery, pathology or anatomy, it rarely occupies more than one-half percent of space. While this may improve with time and the efforts of people such as ourselves, the fact remains that many millions of people will suffer because of this widespread ignorance. Some will lose their lives, some will lose their limbs; many will suffer needless pain and incapacity; many research workers will get incorrect results. All of this through simple ignorance of the importance of the lymphatics.

Understanding why and how damage to the kidneys and other tissues happens is crucial. This'll help you make better choices and know what to do to reverse the damage.

The food you eat plays an important role in healing. Dr. Morse's Detox Miracle Source explores and simplifies the various food groups, explaining how they affect your body and giving you a clear idea of what to eat or avoid.

When the lymphatic system becomes obstructed, the cellular environment, in time, becomes more acidic, oxygen-deprived, dehydrated, and coagulated. Interstitial (which refers to the spaces around the cell) lymph fluid begins to thicken, and the flow slows down.

If your lymphatic system is congested and causing dehydration, it's not as simple as drinking liters of water to solve the issue.

Symptoms of Lymphatic Stagnation

When your body's cells are disrupted, they may function less effectively or might temporarily be overactive. Understanding the roles different cells in your body play is essential.

What if some or many of these vital processes slow down or stop completely? That's the potential impact when cell function is affected.

From the lymphatic system itself, many different but common symptoms can be created, including:

  • allergies (which get worse with weak adrenal glands);
  • slow recovery from injuries or otherwise stiffness and tightness;
  • aches and pains;
  • being sore for long periods of time;
  • pressure buildup in any part of the head leading to headaches and migraines, glaucoma, tinnitus, etc.
  • sinus congestion
  • greying of hair
  • receding hairlines, hair loss, and balding;
  • dandruff;
  • dryness, pimples, acne, dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, and most other skin problems – especially if unable to sweat well (from low thyroid function);
  • swollen lymph nodes (e.g. tonsils);
  • cysts, masses, tumors, and the like;
  • tissues that won’t heal fully, scars develop to compensate, and so forth.

It’s only a matter of where in the body you're most genetically compromised, as these are typically the locations where symptoms will occur first.

And if it happens to involve, say, the adrenal glands, then a domino effect of other symptoms can occur, ranging from blood pressure problems to affecting such things as:

  • breathing
  • blood glucose levels
  • mineral utilization factors (by impacting steroid production)
  • energy levels – all stemming from just one pair of weakened glands.

That's all coming from just one pair of weakened endocrine glands. These issues will never be fixed by treating with Albuterol, Metformin, mineral supplementation, corticosteroid medicines (e.g. Prednisone), or stimulants, respectively.

If you treat, you can’t cure. Look at the medical doctors, they can't cure anything.

When cells have been damaged to the point of severe decay, they inevitably mutate, first becoming atypical cells and eventually “cancer” cells.

They'll continue to replicate themselves in this state genetically. Don't lose focus here. It’s NOT the cell that’s the problem; it’s the medium, environment, or terrain that's caused damage to the cell, to begin with.

In other words, the problem is an obstructed lymphatic system that can't efficiently expel or remove acidic wastes and chemical residues, leading to systemic acidosis and tissue degeneration. But taking action to change the cellular environment is ALWAYS an option and is, in most cases, within your control.

You are the one in control. Stop, explore yourself, and rid yourself of the thoughts, images, and feelings that bind you. Become free and healthy and your body will readjust itself to match. Become love.

Robert Morse, N.D.

Your role is to help your lymphatic system work well by opening up the elimination pathways, especially the kidneys.

Supporting the Detoxification Process

As you begin doing this, your lymph fluid can start to clear up, become less thick, and flow better. As a result, your body transitions from an acidic to a more alkaline condition with better hydration.

This change can help dissolve and eliminate:

  • acid waste material;
  • chemical residues;
  • intestinal mucoid plaque;
  • vascular plaque;
  • stones; and
  • tumors.

In addition to any diet and herbal program, this overall process can be assisted in several ways, including:

  • dry saunas (also with essential oils);
  • skin brushing and other skin cleanses;
  • neuro-Lymphatic massages;
  • manual lymphatic drainage massage (where lymph flow is directed toward the kidneys instead of the heart);
  • adequate rest (particularly important for the adrenal glands);
  • rebounding; and
  • practicing deep breathing exercises.

Fasting (water or dry) or periods of sustaining yourself on liquids only (whether fruit or green juices) can be beneficial at the right time, as it'll give your body’s digestive system a rest, freeing up additional energy for internal “house-cleaning” and other purposes.

Most important is to remember that detoxification is a very individualized journey, where each person must approach the process according to their specific strengths, weaknesses, and state of awareness and must factor in the person’s current health situation. It can often become a game of balance where not going too fast or too slow is key.

There is an art to detoxification. The end goal, ALWAYS, is the regeneration of tissue in the human body and the restoring and improving of the condition of the cell and the fluid that takes care of it.

Robert Morse, N.D.

Every once in a while, taking a break from detoxification is a good way to settle back, balance out, and recuperate. So if you feel the need to set your protocol aside and fall back on a maintenance-style diet, always feel free to do so and start again when ready.

Healing Crises

Healing crises are intense instances of your body aggressively eliminating and purging waste material.

This can happen if you detox too rapidly and your body can't cope with the waste through the main elimination channels.

Or, it can occur when your body has conjured up enough energy and all it needs is a little push—an "alkaline trigger," like alkaline food or even the alkaline quality of cold air.

Depending on how toxic your body is, a healing crisis can bring about a range of symptoms. These can be mild or severe.

They could last for a few hours to several days. Usually, they should not last beyond 3 months. If they do, it's important to assess the situation to figure out what's happening.

A healing crisis can often be successfully stopped by introducing foods into the body that drain more energy to process (cooked vegetables are good examples) and therefore take energy away from expelling matter.

These cleansing events can speed up if you "dig deeper" (by, say, going from a high-fruit diet to a “grape fast” or mono-diet).

Unfortunately, some people might inadvertently prolong their healing crisis by not going deep enough with their detox. This can make the process last longer than necessary. That's why it's crucial to consult a trained Detoxification Specialist who can guide you accurately.

Always keep health simple. Even when things aren't so straightforward and clear, try your best to avoid overthinking, making things unnecessarily complicated; it only serves to entangle you in a world of confusion and disempowerment.

Observe, absorb, and digest as much as possible from Dr. Morse’s free educational material and videos.

The lymph is the most refined, the most rarefied, the most intimate of the body juices. I dare say you had an inkling of the fact in your mind when you asked. People talk about the blood, and the mysteries of its composition, and what an extraordinary fluid it is. But it is the lymph that is the juice of juices, the very essence, you understand, ichor, blood-milk, crème de la crème; as a matter of fact, after a fatty diet it does look like milk.

Thomas Mann, The Magic Mountain

The cell is immortal. It is merely the fluid in which it floats which degenerates. Renew this fluid at intervals, give the cells what they require for nutrition and, as far as we know, the pulsation of life may go on forever.

Dr. Alexis Carrel, M.D., Nobel Prize in Medicine

If we could keep the lymphatic system working properly, we would not have any pain in our body, neither would we have sickness and neither would we have premature death caused from unhealthy conditions in our body; it wouldn’t happen.

In health there is no disease. You do not find cancer in healthy tissue.

Remember there are only two causes of disease, any disease. Number one is toxicity and number two is acidosis, in the form of inflammation. These two causes are the effects of what you eat, drink, breathe, what you put on your skin, as well as what you think and feel. These are the ways that you either strengthen your body or weaken it and the cells within it.
